My entry into Physical Education
How a passion for sport, fitness and teaching became a lifelong career.
My journey into Physical Education began with my strong passion for sports, fitness, discipline and, most importantly, teaching and working with students. I have always loved teaching students and helping them discover their abilities, build confidence and achieve their goals. What started as an interest in sports gradually developed into a professional career and a lifelong passion for education. I pursued B.P.Ed. to build a strong professional foundation in Physical Education and later continued my academic journey with M.P.Ed. My involvement in competitive sports, particularly Kabaddi, further strengthened my understanding of fitness, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and the importance of consistent practice. Teaching Physical Education has always been more than just a profession for me—it is a passion. I believe that Physical Education is not only about physical fitness and games; it also plays an important role in developing discipline, confidence, leadership, teamwork and a positive attitude among students. Throughout my teaching career, I have remained committed to helping my students achieve their academic and sporting potential. I take particular pride in my students' performance in CBSE Board examinations in Physical Education. I have consistently worked towards achieving 100% results, with a large number of my students securing 80% and above marks in Physical Education. For me, the greatest satisfaction as a teacher is seeing students improve, gain confidence and achieve results through their own hard work. I consider teaching, mentoring and motivating students an integral part of my professional journey and something I genuinely enjoy doing. My journey in Physical Education is therefore not simply a career—it is a passion for teaching, sports, student development and making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
